Routine Cleaning

 

Routine cleaning is also known as preventative cleaning, and is recommended every six months to maintain a healthy mouth. Dr. Hayashi has two highly-qualified dental hygienists on staff. They provide all components of a routine cleaning including, but not limited to, a comprehensive mouth exam, tooth scaling, plaque and tartar removal, deep cleaning, tooth polishing, expert flossing, fluoride treatment, and any necessary x-rays. Our hygienist will professionally recommend treatment to help you maintain a healthy oral environment.

Dental Bridges

 

Dental bridges span the gap between one or more missing teeth. The bridge is made of two or more crowns for the teeth on either side of the gap. A false tooth or teeth go in between. Dr. Hayashi is well-versed in all forms of dental bridges. His attention to detail guarantees you will be pleased with your restored ability to eat, speak, and smile.

Root Canals

 

Root canals may be necessary to remove infections originating from dental pulp residing inside of the tooth. Treatment removes the cause of the toothache and allows for retention of your natural tooth. Modern root canal treatment has greatly improved and is not like root canal’s of the past as depicted in many movies.

Tooth-colored Fillings & Crowns

 

Dr. Hayashi uses only tooth-colored, durable materials to fill your teeth. Tooth-colored fillings and crowns don’t just look better, they are also safer for you. Nightguards & Occlusal Guards

 

Nightguards and occlusal guards are used as an interim treatment for headaches due to grinding or clenching, as well as  joint pain, popping, noises, and locking. We can also evaluate for snoring, and obstructive sleep apnea.

Periodontal Treatment

 

Dr. Hayashi emphasizes non-surgical treatment of gum disease. One example, Perio Protect, has shown positive results with moderate cases. Laser therapy is also available.

Dr. Hayashi can address a wide range of denture cases from painful dentures to non-retentive (poorly fitting) dentures.
